About Me

Hi, I’m Nuran! Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, I’m now based in New Jersey and work as a UX designer at Wiley.

My journey into UX began in 2019 when I watched Ian Splater’s episode of Abstract on Netflix—it sparked my curiosity about product design. Facing financial challenges at the time, I almost paused my college studies to enroll in a UX BootCamp. Fortunately, I was selected as one of ten Adobe Creativity Scholarship recipients in 2020, which allowed me to continue my studies while diving into UX design.

I approach design with precision, diligence, and a focus on outcomes. For me, design isn’t just aesthetics—it’s a tool to solve complex problems and create meaningful experiences for both users and businesses. I prioritize user-centered thinking and practical solutions, ensuring that each design decision drives real impact.

Beyond work, I apply my skills to make a positive social impact. I currently volunteer as a book designer for a nonprofit dedicated to defending human rights and amplifying the voices of those silenced by oppression.
